This booklet has a very comprehensive collection of instructions on how to make Dorset Buttons. It contains twenty pages of information, covering a short history of the industry and instructions on how to make all four ranges of Dorset Buttons and their variations.
Areas covered include High Top buttons, Dorset Knobs, Birds Eye and Singleton buttons, Dorset Cartwheels and Blandford Crosswheel buttons.
The booklet also covers the Cartwhee variations including how to work with beads and the bouquet and tree buttons.
This is a home produced publication with coloured illustrations on nearly all the pages. It is printed by our community printers in Shaftesbury, Dorset.
