Online Dorset Button Workshop
'Spring Flower' design

As Spring approaches, I thought I would offer this workshop to celebrate the beginning of the season, we can do with some cheering up after the long winter.

This Dorset Button is based on one of my favourite spring flowers, the Primrose. In the Victorian language of flowers, primroses are associated with youth and young love means “I can't live without you.” Across cultures, primroses signify spring, protection, safety, and love. I think this is very appropriate for a March workshop.

I have designed this button in two colours, in green and yellow, and worked on a 32mm hollow brass ring. It can be worked by anyone who knows how to make a Dorset ‘Cartwheeel’ Button.

The session will start with welcoming you all, introductions, and a short introduction to what I will cover during this workshop.
During the workshop, I will aim to:
      offer a bespoke help - even online
      adapt the lesson to you
      assess everybody's needs & expectation


Once you have registered, I will send you a Zoom link and a workshop worksheet a few days before the workshop.
