Dorset Buttons can be categorised into four separate groups:
● Those made from sheep’s horn, fabric and thread (High Tops and Dorset Knobs)
● Fabric and thread only (Birds Eyes and some Dorset Mites)
● Wire, fabric and thread (Singletons)
● Wire and thread (Dorset Cartwheels and Blandford Crosswheels)
